Jeruviel Stardust comes from a place and time not so easily conveyed to mere mortals of our coordinates. Some power of seven into the future or ancient past of our present timeline on what the English speaking peoples of the capitalist empire call “Earth” is approxomitely whenfrom Jeruviel hails. Jeruviel is currently executing an investigation into these strange artifacts of “our time” called “schools”. Jeruviel is most interested in learning what was so special about these institutions such that so many hoped they would solve the great societal problems of “our time.” Upon first arrival and initial analysis Jeruviel is quite flabbergasted that so many young people spend so much of their time physically severed from the natural world and great “disappearing” wildernesses of “Earth.” Jeruviel does not understand why such a great number of people–younglings and no-so-younglings alike–remain so enraptured with this thing called “education” while the very earth that sustains them is being destroyed while they are getting ready for…tomorrow?
Jeruviel Stardust is a portal crafter and time traveler by nature and might be considered a bit of a Renaissance (person) by many of our time, but Jeruviel is not so uncommon where they come from. Yet there is not so much that is common or uncommon in the portal dimension from which Jeruviel hails. Jeruviel is a major collector of fruit seeds, especially seeds that make fruit-making trees, and especially especially seeds that make fruit-making trees which bare fruit which make tasty pies. Interstellar Peach Pie-Cobbler is Jeruviel’s favorite dessert. Jeruviel is known as a pirate and outlaw in some sectors and a great maintainer of intergalactic peace and order in others with similar variance in perspective among varying inhabitants of a given sector. Jeruviel’s Wonderous Fruitful Fancy is the largest and fastest moving fruit forest/spaceship known to the known multiverse (as known by Jeruviel and associates). It comes equipped with an extreme hospitality anti-thieving mechanism that has allowed it to evade an unknown but great number of would-be hijackings. It is Jeruviel’s hope to be able to salvage some of “Earth’s” best fruit tree seeds before the less intelligent species currently infecting the biosphere here finishes itself off through their homemade 6th mass extinction. While some might hope that Jeruviel would use their superior technologies or knowledges to make some intervention to avert said 6th mass extinction, they are currently just here participating in a sort of tourism of near-extinct societies–that is, visiting societies and experiencing them shortly prior to their collapse.

Jon Nim, is a "Commander" of a crashed gold transport the crash during a botched hijacking attempt. A malfunction in software which explains why modern people crave gold and precious metals to this day on earth. Jon Nim, was a warrior who managed the workers day to day process. The workers had what we would call nano technology that would also require what we in our time call 5G. There are many like Jon and there are many Jon Nim, but in no ways can you compare Jon Nim to you or any other human you know of. The things he can do with his mind and body is beyond our imagination and even his own, because he himself has not even unlocked it all. Even at the point of the accident/incident, even as a officer serving in the bio colony, he was no where near his final ascensions.
Jon himself is nothing special as he was created to serve a purpose and he is one of many. When others might freeze in panic his higher functions that lay dormant start up as simple as a person exhales a breath. Its not something he trained to do, its something his body itself is designed to do. He does not have any feeling or choice towards it. In the military there is a saying, hurry up and wait, meaning always be prepared and don't be caught off guard. He will just carry out a task or purpose as if its a order and sit and wait until a command or perception of a command is given.
Jon Nim is a awareness, not a family blood line. Since he comes from a race of beings (of conscious), even the lowest of his kind can incarnate him at anytime in his life or any of the other "Ship officers/masters", not like masters as humans know, because they are masters of themselves and only serve others and only seek to master all their crafts. In a way, Human nature is a blessing a curse. Humans, are chained and limited in their thought process due to what is considered right and wrong, which limits their true exploration into science and discovery.
Jon Nim, does not behave as how we would think as a soldier, but has absolute resolve and no fear as we would understand. Only what we would think as a robot, because he carries many memories and lives in him of his own past and others. Also, of futures not yet to come. sometimes he can unlock time line memories and sometimes he has access to timeline futures when he needs to. Its only a human desire to know these things. He has no interest.
Jon understands, nothing is lost, just misunderstood or corrupted, all will be made whole again and He waits...

(Sorry if i confuse) I was wondering how this would look if i posted a reply. Does Stardust see that the school is actually a divide against the family institution? The learning/Loving is at home kitchen/craft/bench table the education at the library for the mystic arts.
